Welcome back to the Ministry Corner.
Have you ever been in a storm? Have you ever been in one of those like really just all-out raging storms this it’s raining and the wind is blowing like mad and the trees are blowing over and it just feels like chaos.
Perhaps you’ve been in a storm like that and you you hide in your house and it’s scary sometimes because you think is the house gonna hold? Is is my garden gonna be okay? Is everyone outside gonna be okay? Like it’s something gonna get destroyed or blown away but some people it does blow away their house and it destroys destroys their area and where they’re living and it’s such a powerful destructive force and when that comes it can be scary because you feel like what’s gonna happen there’s nothing you can do about it.
It’s just such a powerful force coming on you and afterwards you have to go pick up the pieces. There’s dirt everywhere, there’s leaves everywhere, there’s trash flowing around and it seems like there was such destruction that took place and what was the point of it? Well you know sometimes I’m sure you feel that way in your spiritual life. Sometimes it feels like right now there’s just a wind blowing and nothing seems to be going right.
All you see is just a powerful storm all around you and everything’s getting destroyed. Your life feels like it’s gonna come crumbling down and get destroyed. Do you feel that way today? Well I want to just share a word for you from the Lord perhaps to encourage you.
The Lord says to you do not fear the wind or the storm. Do not fear what will happen or what it will destroy for I am in control says the Lord. I am in control of your life and no matter what storms come and no matter what winds blow I will not allow you to be destroyed.
I will not allow what I’ve placed in you to be destroyed. I will not allow the promises that I’ve given you to be taken away because I am in control and indeed when the wind blows it will destroy and it will take away much and there will be much that you will feel like you lost but it will be of me says the Lord. I will only allow those things that are not of me that need to be removed to be taken away.
So you can rest assured right now that I am in control. Do not fear the storm you are facing but rest and trust me and know that I will hold you in my hands and I will take you through the storm says the Lord. Perhaps you feel that way today? I want to encourage you.
You see because sometimes we don’t like when the wind blows. Most of the time we don’t like when the wind blows because it destroys and it takes away things and it feels like all we’ve built is being crumbled. But you know you can have different kinds of wind.
You could have the enemy trying to destroy something that you’ve built or that God’s given you or it could be God using that wind to take away the things that are not of him. Have you been asking God for something more? Have you been asking him for a greater level in the spirit, a greater knowledge of him or of his power, greater presence of the Lord in your life? Perhaps you’ve been asking him for a change in your circumstances. Well they don’t fear when the wind blows because he is going to bring the change that you’ve been asking for and when the wind is done and when the storm is passed you will be in the place that God has for you.
I just want to read you a quick scripture to end from John chapter 3 in verse 8. It says the wind blows where it wants to and you hear the sound of it but you cannot tell where it come from where it comes and to where it goes. So is everyone that is born of the spirit. If the wind is blowing in your life now it’s time to rejoice.
Perhaps it’s time to rejoice and know that God is moving in your life, that something is happening, that change is taking place. And change is not easy but the Lord will take you through it. He will not allow you to be tested beyond what you are able.
He will take you through it. And I hope that this week this is an encouragement to you to keep pushing forward, keep trusting in the Lord and keep holding on because the wind will pass and you’ll be in the place that God has for you. This was a blessing to you.
