You are never alone. But the chances are that there have been times you have felt alone. When you’re going through hard times, when you’re going through a low point in your life, that is when you need someone there to help you through.

Something Important

And today I’m going to show you that you are never alone. Welcome back to the ministry corner. Today I want to talk to you about something that is very important in your life as a believer in Christ.

You see, because there are times in our life when we feel alone. There are times when we feel that there’s no one who cares, that there’s no one in this world who truly cares about us. And you know, that’s the time when we need to come to Jesus.

That’s the time when he is there for us. But you know, sometimes we forget to do that. I know in my personal life, I’ve always known Jesus is there, but sometimes you go through hard times in your life.

You know, sometimes you face a little bit of a struggle and you run to Jesus and you know he’s there. But sometimes you really go through a hard time, really just something so overwhelming. So, such pressure on you, such struggle in your life that sometimes you feel like even Jesus isn’t there for you.

Well, I want to show you the importance of getting back to coming to Jesus. You see, sometimes we face misunderstanding from people in this life. Sometimes we’re suffering, maybe physically and in pain, and people can only do so much.

But when you’re lying there alone by yourself, feeling rejected, feeling in pain, feeling alone, you know you can run to Jesus. You know that you can come to him at any time, right? He is always there. He is always waiting for you.

Feeling All Alone

He will never leave you. But yet it seems like in that moment, he’s so far away. How do you come to him? You know, he said in his word in John 14, John 14, reading from verse 16, he said,

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Comforter [like Me], so that he may continue to be with you forever; [GBMV]

He said forever. That means he is always there with you. He is always there, even when it seems like he isn’t.

The next verse, he said,

[Namely] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him, nor know him: but you know him; because He is currently living with you, but He is going to be in you. [GBMV]

And he was speaking to the disciples before they had fully entered into that final becoming a believer and having the Holy Spirit resident in them.

And he said in the final verse, verse 18,

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. [GBMV]

You see, God, he will come to you. You know, we read the scriptures and the scriptures say, let us come boldly to the throne of grace so we know we can come to Christ and we can come to him whenever we have a need.

But sometimes it seems like coming to him means going up there, like he’s up there in heaven. He’s in the heavenly realm and we need to like come to him like a king and request and be my prayers up to him in the hopes that he hears us.

He Made a Promise

But you see here, he said he’s not going to leave us. He said he’s going to come to us. That means he’s going to come to you wherever you are right now.

Whatever you are facing right now, he’s going to come to you. So you think, how do I come to him? How do I come to the Lord when it seems like he’s a million miles away? You don’t have to. He is already there.

He is already standing right beside you. Right here, he’s standing right beside me. Wherever you are right now, he is standing right there, right beside you.

You can see him in the Spirit standing there with you, saying, I am here, my child. I am here for you. I am here to help you through no matter what you are facing.

And you know, when you are in a relationship with someone in this world, when you want to see them, you think about them all the time. You think about seeing them. You think about what they look like, how they are.

Perhaps it’s somebody you’re really in love with. You think about them, and you think about how amazing they are. They fill your thoughts, and you want to be with them.

And when they’re there, you feel comfortable. You feel like you’re where you belong, where you want to be. Well, you know, whatever you’re facing right now in your life, Jesus can be that for you.

Falling in Love With Jesus

You can fall in love with Jesus just like you fall in love with a person in this world. You can fall in love with him so much that he consumes your thoughts, that you just have those butterflies in your stomach, like when you’re in love with somebody. You have just that feeling of, oh, I can’t wait to see him.

You know, he never goes away like a person does. He never lets you down like a person does. He’s standing right there besides you, always ready.
But you know, you must desire it. You must desire to have that. And sometimes we forget about the Lord.

As we go about our daily lives, we forget about him. But you know, he’s still standing there, wherever you are right now. He’s still standing there, waiting for you just to turn and come to him and say, Jesus, I need you.

Jesus, I love you. You must desire it, because he is closer than anything you can imagine. You don’t have to reach up into heaven.

You don’t have to reach up higher, hoping that he hears you. He is standing right there beside you. You need to make him the love of your life.

Getting Back to That Place

You know, recently I went through a hard struggle in my life. I went through a time of real struggle where I was battling physically with my health. And that’s how it started.

It started with my physical health. I started having problems with headaches, and I started having a pain in the side of my face and my jaw. And you know, that doesn’t seem like a major problem.

But as it went on and on for week after week, and I couldn’t find what the problem was, and I was crying out to the Lord. And you know, through that time, I came to realize that it wasn’t about the physical thing. It wasn’t about what I was suffering I was going through, because Jesus was there for me in the spirit.

I realized that I had a weakness inside of me in my spirit, a longing and a desire. I felt so alone. And even though I grew up with Jesus always there, I grew up knowing that he was always there by my side.

I didn’t have that close, loving relationship with him like I should, like I used to have when I was younger. And I came back to that place where I realized that Jesus is everything in my life. Jesus means everything to me, and he is always there by my side to help me.

He is always there to love me. You know, when you feel alone at night, when you’re crying out, no matter what you’re going through, what struggle you are facing, you can turn and you can see Jesus there. You can see him by his side, and he will speak to you in your spirit.

You Need His Word

You’ll hear him speaking, saying, I’m in control, my child. I love you, my child. I’m not going to let anything bad happen to you.

I’m not going to let this thing overwhelm you, because I have it in control and in my hands. You know, that’s what you need in order to overcome any struggle you’re facing, any obstacle you’re facing, if you’re feeling alone even. All you need is a word from the Lord, because when you see that word, when you hear that word from him, when you hear him speaking to you and saying, I’m in control, everything’s going to be fine.

Then you can know, and you can stop worrying. You can stop worrying about the things you’re facing. You can stop struggling and battling, and you can relax and know that you are in his hands, and he is holding you in his hands.

And I feel the Lord saying today,

“My child, come to me and let me take your struggles and help you through. Come to me and let me be there for you, not just to take your struggles, but to be there as a friend and a person you can cling to, a person you can lean on, who will always be there, who is always reliable.

Come to me and let me take those burdens from you, and you will see that what you have been struggling with for so long is nothing in my sight, says the Lord.

It is nothing to me, for I can carry it, and I can carry far more than that. And as you give me that load today, and as you let me take that load and you come to me, not only will you experience a freedom in your life and a new zest for life, but you will develop a closer relationship and a closer bond with me, as I intended, and you will live the kind of life I want for you, with me walking side by side with you, says the Lord.”

Walk in The Spirit

You know, that is what we call walking in the Spirit, where every day you know that Jesus is beside you, where everywhere you go you can feel his presence, and you know that he’s there with you.

The Lord wants that for you today, and I hope that me sharing this has been a bit of an inspiration for you to get back to that close relationship with the Lord, that close thing where you fall in love with him. I hope you have that, and you hope you develop that today, and as you go out this week.

If this was a blessing to you, don’t forget to like and share the post, and I will see you in the next ministry corner.
