What kind of news does God have for you?
I would really like to know the news ahead of time. If only the Lord could show me what plans He has for me.

Welcome back to the Ministry Corner.
I Like News
Do you like to hear news? Do you like to hear what’s happening, what’s going on around you, what’s happening to people? And if you do, what kind of news do you like? Do you like good news or do you like bad news? Well, you know, I think everybody likes to hear news. Everyone likes to hear what’s going on.
If someone comes up to you and says,
“Did you hear what happened? Do you know what’s going on?”
I’m sure you’re tempted to find out what’s happening, right? You can’t help it. You can’t help but find out what’s going on, what’s going to happen, what happened, what’s going to happen in the future. You know, like we’re so preoccupied with what’s going to happen in the future, what’s going to happen to us, and you start to get worried.
You start to wonder what is going to happen, what bad news could come. We always focus on the bad. You know, what if we could look to the Lord and find out what’s going to happen? What if we could find out the news ahead of time? What if you could find out tomorrow’s news already from the Lord?
A lot of people try to do this. They try to go to prophets or they try to go to fortune-tellers and try to find out what’s going to happen.
A Real Source of News
I want to show you how God really tells you tomorrow’s news. Because you see, God says to you,
“Come to me for tomorrow’s news. Come to me to find out what’s going to happen. Come to me to find out what plans I have for you and what’s going to happen.”
When it comes to news, you know, we don’t always doubt it, do we? When you read the news, you think, well, that just happened.
That happened. It’s a fact. It can’t be changed.
But when it comes to the Lord, sometimes we doubt. I don’t know about you, but I doubt when I hear the Lord speak, when He gives me a promise, or when He says what’s going to happen. Sometimes I doubt. I’ve got to be honest with you.
I doubt. I think, well, the Lord said that, but is it really going to happen? You know, we don’t have that problem when it comes to the physical news that we see on TV or that you read online or in the newspaper. You think, well, it’s just a fact.
You believe it. And you know, sometimes even in the news they lie, but you tend to believe it, don’t you? And you know, when we read the Word of God, that’s good news, isn’t it? It should be news that speaks to us. But when we read the Word, we think, well, it’s old news.
It doesn’t necessarily apply anymore, does it? The Bible’s an old book. That word doesn’t apply to me anymore. But you know, it should apply to you, and I’m going to tell you how it should apply to you.
What You Believe
You see, when you read the Word, it is old news. It’s old, and it’s stale. It’s what we call the Logos Word.
It’s a word that was written down a long time ago, and it doesn’t seem to really apply to you now, does it? But when you read current news, current, up-to-date things, you believe it because it’s current and it applies right now. And when it comes to believing, that means you have faith, right? You have faith in the news. You have faith in what people tell you right now.
But we don’t always have faith in the Word of God because it’s old news. Well, you know, the Word of God says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the rhema Word of God. (Romans 10:17)
So if you want to have faith in the Word of God, you need to get what is called a rhema. You need to know without a doubt. When you read the current news, you know without a doubt this happened. You believe that it happened.
It’s a past tense. It happened, and it’s a fact. A rhema word from God is the same thing.
It’s a fact. It’s something that is applied to you right now. It’s something that you believe right now.
So faith comes by hearing by the Word of God. And when it comes to reading the Bible, we don’t always get that because this is an old word. So you need to get a fresh word from the Lord right now.
You need to get a fresh word from Him saying, this is my news for you tomorrow. This is my news for you and what’s gonna happen. And when you get a rhema, it means that it’s not just you hearing from the Lord.
It’s not just you hearing His words about the good things He has for you. It’s actually Him saying to you, it’s a fact. I’m gonna do this.
This is a fact. This is the news for you. This is going to happen for you.
Get Up to Date
To get that, you need to get a clear picture from the Lord of what He wants. You need to get a clear picture of what He has for you. And you know the only way you’re gonna get that is by spending time doing two things.
1. Spending time reading His Word because that is good news. That is His newspaper for you. Spend time reading that.
Spend time putting it in. But then you need to go further than that.
2. You need to spend time with Him in His presence and praying.
Praying in tongues is one of the most powerful things you can do to tap into your spirit. Spending time just waiting on the Lord and praying to Him and waiting to hear His Word. You know the more you do that you start to see a picture of what He has for you.
You start to see a picture of what He has for the future for you. You start to discover what His news for you is. And you know when you see a clear picture then you don’t have to doubt anymore.
You have faith in it. You can have faith in that picture. The problem is that we find it hard to maintain faith in that picture.
The Lord gave you a picture. The Lord told you what He wants to do for you. In His Word He says that that He’s going to prosper you.
That He has blessed you. But we don’t keep those pictures in our mind do we? I don’t always keep those pictures in my mind. You know you might say you’re super spiritual and you always keep those things the Lord has promised.
But you know it’s really hard when all around you is bad news. When all around you is Satan putting lies in your mind telling you what’s gonna happen. You have to focus on the picture the Lord gave you.
And if the Lord gave you a promise and a rhema word that is tomorrow’s news for you. That is the news that He has for what’s gonna happen. And you need to hold on to that promise.
And you need to keep confessing that promise. You need to confess it every day over and over so that picture stays in your mind and not the bad news.
My Struggles
I find this really hard and I freely admit that I struggle with this. I struggle to maintain a good picture in my mind because I always get worried. I have so many cares for the future. I have so many worries about what’s gonna happen.
About what lies in the future. And I know the Lord has said so many good things to me. So many people have given me words saying good things.
People encourage you. I read the Word of God and He says that He has good plans for me. But I get worried.
And you know I have to constantly maintain looking at the good picture. You see the thoughts of your mind they really will affect your emotions. And they will affect what your spirit creates, and what happens in your life.
Take Control
You have the power in your spirit to create what happens in your life by the pictures that you keep in your mind and the words that you confess every day. So keep the rhema word in your mind.
Find a good rhema. Find something that really stood out to you that the Lord said to you. Perhaps someone gave you a word.
Perhaps they told you something or encouraged you. Perhaps you just got a revelation from the Lord and saw a good picture. Maybe while you were reading the Word something stood out to you.
Keep that picture in your mind every day. Keep confessing that and say that is the news. That’s the good news that God has for me.
And then you will start to see that your life will turn around. You’ll start to create the kind of life that God has for you, and the blessing of the Lord will begin to flow in your life because you’re releasing the good news for tomorrow and not the bad news.
I want to leave you with a scripture from the Word that is I believe tomorrow’s news that God has for you right now.
It’s in Jeremiah 29 verse 11. It says,
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD [Yahweh], thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a hope for the future. [GBMV]
Don’t lose hope for the future. Keep maintaining looking at that rhema word, that picture that God has given you. Maintain that.
Keep reading the Word and digging in and finding promises from the Lord and keep confessing them until they become a rhema word. Until you have faith in that and not in the bad news that’s around you. You have faith that that is tomorrow’s news and not the bad news that Satan is putting in your life.
My Prayer
“Father, I thank you for each person reading today. I thank you that you have good news for them and ask you Lord to show them tomorrow’s news. The news that you have for them.
The good news. The plans that you have. The hope for the future.
That you have them in your hands and that you will take them through now. I thank you for it Lord in Jesus name. Amen.”
