What has God promised you? Have you seen the promise? Have you seen it come to be fulfilled in your life? Have you maybe seen signs of it and you’re still waiting for it?

Perhaps you’re doubting that God is ever going to fulfill his promise in your life. Well, today I want to talk to you about how to birth the promise that God has for you in your life.

The Promise Given

Welcome back to the Ministry Corner.

Today I want to talk to you about birthing the promise that God has for you. You know, sometimes it seems like God gives us so many good promises. Have you had that? Have you experienced that? Perhaps so many people have given you a word from the Lord.

They’ve given you an amazing promise of what he has for your life and they’ve told you what you’re going to do for him.

They’ve told you the amazing things he’s going to do, that he’s going to heal you, that he’s going to provide your life partner for you, that he’s going to give you a great ministry for him and what you desire to do for him. But maybe you haven’t seen it yet.

Maybe you got so excited, you got so ready for the promise God has for you, but you didn’t see it yet. It didn’t happen. And you’ve been waiting, and you’ve been waiting, and you started to believe that maybe God is not going to fulfill that promise.

Well, did God lie? Did God say that he’s going to fulfill it and he didn’t? Did he lie? Do you believe God lied? No, I’m sure you don’t.

I’m sure you believe that God tells the truth, but there’s just doubt in your heart now. Well, you know, when God gave you the promise, it’s almost like it was conceived in your heart.

You know, when a baby is conceived in the womb, the growth starts. Something starts deep inside. And at first, when a woman falls pregnant, she can’t necessarily see that she’s pregnant.

She might not even know for a long time, because there’s no sign of it. There’s no outward sign yet that it’s happened. Perhaps she’s done a test and she’s seen that she’s conceived, but there’s no sign yet that it’s going to happen.

And you know, at that point, it’s easy to give up, to want to give up and think, oh, the baby’s never coming. It’s never going to happen. The promise, this thing God said he’s going to give us, is never going to happen.

But you know, when God gave you that promise, when you got excited about it, that moment you saw it, you got excited and you saw it, you saw yourself doing it. That’s when it was conceived. You saw God giving it to you.

He Will Do It

Well, the other day I was reading in the scripture, and a scripture really stood out to me. It’s from Isaiah chapter 66 and verse 9. And it says,

Isaiah 66:9 Will I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD [Yahweh]: will I cause to bring forth, and shut [the womb]? says your God. [GBMV]

And you know, it just stood out to me. You know, if God said he’s going to do it, he’s going to do it. If God promised it, he’s going to do it.

But you know, there’s a few steps in between that maybe you need to do. There’s a few things you need to do to make sure that that birth comes out healthy and that the baby, the promise that God’s given you, comes to fulfillment.

You know, in the middle while you’re waiting for the promise of God, the devil likes to come and put his lies in your mind.

He likes to come and say, it’s not coming. It’s not going to happen. And you know, that’s the moment when you can lose it.

When you begin to believe those lies, when you begin to believe the lies that the enemy’s put in your mind, that’s the moment you can lose it. That’s the moment you can lose the promise that God has for you. You have to do something to keep it healthy.

You have to keep confessing the word. You have to keep strengthening that baby until the birth comes. But it’s so easy to get tempted to get angry at God, to say, why God? Why did you allow me to go through this hard time of waiting? You told me that you’re going to heal me.

You told me that you’re going to, you told me that you’re going to do it. And it got worse. Things got worse.

You told me you were going to provide my finances, Lord. And things got worse. And you get angry at God.

And God, God does not want you to suffer that way. But you know, there’s a time of birth that you need to go through.

It Takes Time

My father Les Crause has taught about this extensively in his series on the Way of Blessing, about how you need to maintain, you need to keep at it until that birth comes.

And you know, he used an amazing allegory. He said, you can birth anything that you want, any promise that you want. But you know, in the natural, if you look at it, there are different birth cycles.

There are different times it takes for things to be birthed. If you want to birth something small, if you’re just a small animal, you want to birth a cat or a dog, then it’s only going to take you a short time. But you want to birth an elephant, it’s going to take you much longer.

It’s going to take you a year to birth that thing that God has promised, because that is a big baby that has to get birthed. And there’s a lot of growth that has to take place. Well, what can you do now while you’re waiting for the promise? It’s simple.

You need to flow out in faith and hope and love. And you need to stand on the promise that God has given to you, that that thing is coming.

You see, if you don’t feed the baby something healthy, healthy nutrients, if you don’t keep the bad things out that you’re not supposed to eat, that can damage the baby, then that promise is not going to be fulfilled.

That baby is not going to come forth. So, for starters, you need to speak the promise that God gave you. Not only from the word, you need to speak the promise from the word that he gave you, but you also need to speak the promise you heard him speak to you.

Speak What You Heard

Did you hear God say to you that it’s going to happen? Did you hear God say that he’s going to fulfill that promise? Then speak that out. Confess that out loud. Say, God said that it’s going to happen.

Satan, I do not believe your lies because God promised it, and when he promises, he will fulfill. His word says that he will bring it forth, that he will bring to the birth, and he will not close up the womb.

So, I stand on that promise that he has given me, that he is going to fulfill it, and he is going to bring it forth now.

And it might take time. It might take a lot of time for you to fulfill that promise, but it’s going to happen. Do not give up your hope.

Do not give up your hope because that is the greatest thing that the enemy tries to do. He tries to stop your hope from coming. And you know, you might have faith.

You might be believing God and have faith in your spirit and know without a doubt that it’s going to happen. But you know, in your soul, in your mind, you start to doubt. You start to doubt that it’s going to happen, and that is what Satan does.

He likes to sow seeds of doubt into your mind so that you lose your hope. But if you pursue, your hope will be restored when you see it come forth. If you keep seeing those pictures God has given you, not the pictures of the enemy, you can start to see hope building once again.

You can start to see it coming forth. Now, the scripture says,

Romans 5:3 And not only this, but we boast in pressures also: knowing that pressure produces endurance
4 And endurance, approval; and approval, hope: [GBMV]

Building Hope

Why do we go through these pressures? Why do we go through these things that are so hard? Because it builds hope in us.

It builds hope when we endure and we push through the promise that God has for us. And you know, when you stand on that hope, then the promise will be fulfilled. But not only faith and hope, you need to have love in your heart.

You need to give out in love. Instead of just waiting for the promise of what God has given you, you need to give out to others in love. You give out and fulfill the promise that God has for others.

Because when you give out, you release the power as well. When you give out to others, you release the power in your spirit for God to work in your life. It’s not just about you, but about everyone and every believer that is believing God for the promise.

If you’ve lost hope today, know that God is going to fulfill the promise. Do not lose your hope. Do not give up because God is going to fulfill that promise in your life.

My Prayer

I see there’s many who have given up. They’ve lost hope. They’ve lost hope that it’s ever going to happen.

They tried. You tried. You stepped out in faith, believing God was going to fulfill it, and it seemed to never happen.

Well, God is going to take you through to the time of birth. He’s going to take you through to the time that He promised, and He will not forsake you. He has not forsaken you.

That promise is standing right there in front of you, even though you can’t see it. Reach out now once again in faith and hope and love, knowing that it is going to be fulfilled in your life, and it is going to come forth.

And whatever God has promised you, you will see the promise, and you will step into it now.

Thank you, Lord, for it now. Thank you for each one that is standing now once again in your promise.

I thank you, Lord, for showing them a glimmer of hope, for showing them that all this time they’ve been waiting for that promise has not been in vain, but has in fact built into them strength and endurance that they need to fulfill the promise that you have for them.

To fulfill all that you want for them, that you’ve called them in their life.

And if your desire has been to work for the Lord and to fulfill His call on your life, know that He has used this to build into you a strength and an endurance that will last, so that you can fulfill all that He has for you.

I thank you for it now, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If this ministry corner has been a blessing to you, I hope that you will share it with others, and you’ll go forth now and have an amazing week ahead with the blessing of the Lord, seeing His promise fulfilled now.

Amen.
