Put your trust in the Lord, He always has a plan.

In Isaiah chapter 37, King Hezekiah was worried that Jerusalem would be attacked by the king of Assyria. He was told to not trust the Lord. Because it was clear that the king would take Jerusalem just as he had taken so many other cities.

So what did he do? He went to the Lord in prayer. He presented it all before the Lord and said “You alone are Lord, you alone can save us”

I love this chapter because it showed so clearly how everything was against Hezekiah but yet he still trusted in the Lord. He even went to the Lord and said, “These words were sent to mock the living God.” How dare they mock you God?

He wanted the Lord to win so that everyone can see that He alone is God. It was not in his own strength but in the strength of God that he trusted.

So the Lord responded, He sent an angel to destroy half the Assyrian army. If that is not a sign then I don’t know what is.

Don’t listen to the voices around you saying that the Lord will fail you. Because those voices will always be there, trying to distract you from where God wants you to be. He has a plan and He will fulfill it. Just take all your cares to Him and let Him help you.

And He will come through for you.
